Craig has been awarded a prestigious award for his Country Ballad ‘Take The Wheel’ at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in New South Wales.

 

The John & Judy Martin Commemorative Award, is presented for the best Country Ballad of the Year by the Tamworth Songwriters Association. This National Award was award to Craig, and co-writers Merelyn and David Carter (Carter & Carter) at the Awards ceremony in Tamworth this week.

 

The Tamworth Songwriters Association Awards, are held during the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the largest music festival in Australia, and one of the top 10 largest music festivals in the world.

Craig said “I am so grateful to the TSA for this award. Receiving such recognition is humbling, and to have been presented the award in the presence of some of the best songwriters in Australia was both memorable and wonderful recognition for our song. To have had the opportunity to collaborate on the writing of ‘Take The Wheel’ with Country Music legends Carter & Carter is one of the highlights of my music journey”.
